Sky Sports Living For Sport Project

The Year 11 GCSE PE pupils were lucky enough to spend a day with double European medalist boxer Hannah Beharry, as part of the Sky Sports Living For Sport campaign.

Hannah spoke in-depth with the pupils about her struggles to become an elite athlete and provided some invaluable knowledge and advice on how to achieve their goals, within both school and sport.

Asha said, "it was such a fun day. The history of Hannah and how she got to wear she is now, is an inspiration to us all’.

The pupils were then put through their paces in the afternoon as Hannah led a boxing masterclass, which was enjoyed by all. Emily commented, "I loved the boxing element of the day, but my body really ached the next day".
