Genee International Ballet Competition
The Genée International Ballet Competition is one of the world's most prestigious Classical ballet competitions. It is organised by the Royal Academy of Dance and is named in memorial to Dame Adeline Genée, one of the founders of the Academy. First held in 1931, it is one of the oldest ballet competitions of its kind in the world.
Sophie Merrill and Amy Lewis were invited to attend and perform at Sadler's Wells; the only students from a school to be asked to help promote the event along with other competitors. While there they experienced world-class coaching.
