Jack Petchy Glee Club Challenge
In its fourth year, the Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge is a search for London and Essex's best show choir/Glee Club. With free entry, boot camps and workshops run by music industry professionals, three Regional Finals and the Grand Final taking place at The Southbank Centre, as well as a chance to win a share of a £5,000 prize pot, this is a competition not to be missed.
The Challenge is open to all groups of young people aged 11-25 with an interest in singing and dancing. As well as Performing Arts and Stage schools, other schools are equally encouraged to apply and to offer students the opportunity to participate in this amazing programme. The Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge is not just a competition. It is designed to increase the confidence, performance ability and teamwork of all participants.
Congratulations must go to the following students, who auditioned amongst sixty other schools including performing arts stage schools in London, gaining a place through to the Boot camp and regional finales held at 'The Broadway Theatre' in Barking Essex. They were a credit to the school and performed brilliantly. We expect all girls to go on to even greater achievements within the area of performing arts.
