National Career and Apprenticeship Week
Next week is National Careers and Apprenticeship Week.
To mark this the academy will be displaying around the academy, specific posters relating to career and apprenticeship options within each department and subject.
This topic will feature in many of the lessons next week, highlighting what careers can be achieved from studying specific subjects.
Mrs Duffy the Academey's Careers Advisor is on site every Tuesday and is situated by the LRC in the New Beckenham building.

It is imperative that students start to investigate their future options at an early stage. Their future career may include work, apprenticeships, school leaver programmes, higher and further education or a gap year. The evening has been arranged to provide information and advice to parents and your students, to help explore the options and speak to the providers directly.
Over 60 universities, employers and career organisations from around the country will be exhibiting at the Careers Fair, which will be running throughout the evening; including a number of talks taking place alongside. Check out below the provisional list of exhibitors.
Parents and carers are also invited as you will find it informative and very beneficial, enabling you to support your son/daughter make decisions about their future.
Please note there will be no parking on site during the evening. It is advisable to use public transport or make use of local residential roads.
This event is for Harris students and their parents and carers only.
Please note, to be admitted in to the event Year 11 students MUST wear their full Academy school uniform and sixth form students MUST wear their ID and lanyard.
