Head Pupil and deputies for 2016/17 announced!
Last week has been one of the most exciting with three amazing candidates: Kamil Koroma; Zoe Range and Chloe Leigh going head-to-head in our Head Pupil hustings. All three had presented their vision of the way in which they envisage their potential tenure proceeding, delineating their individual priorities and the attributes which they believe will facilitate their success in the role, in an attempt to gain a majority of votes. Pupils from all years have listened attentively and I'm sure were agonising over which campaign to back.
The HGABR cohort had their say in who they wanted to represent them at the academy for the next academic year, sending in their votes to the ballot box on Friday.
Votes were counted and the announcement was made this Monday... Well done to Chloe Leigh who was appointed as Head Girl, and Zoe and Kamil who were appointed as Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl.
It must be stated that all three candidates were highly articulate, passionate and inspiring, and all will indubitably be exceptional figureheads for the school, representing their peers fabulously.
