Harris Federation Sports Day 2016

HGABR once again took part in the annual Federation Sports Day, competing against some of the best athletes from the many other competing academies.

The day started with many cheers by three different cheer leading groups from all the academies, including HGABRs very talented teams and the flag march from all the academies.

Everyone competed at the top level and awards were handed out by some of our very special guests, including Lord Harris, Sol Campbell, Shona Richards and jumping legend JJ Jegede.

Although HGABR didn't win overall this year, the girls taking part and our great spectators, were brilliant! Just check out our gallery area for some of the photos and video's of the day.

Special mention goes to the PE department and Mr Sherwin for organising events for a smooth and yet exciting day.

HGABR results:

First place - Year 7 Girls overall winners

Third place - Year 9 Girls overall winners

Federation Enterprise challenge Winner - HGABR

Staff Relay Winner - HGABR (Miss Dent, Mr Momodu, Ms Whittaker and Mr Howes).

Well done to Harris Greenwich for winning overall girls and Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, for winning overall boys.

Until next year.....
