CRASH TEST DUMMIES at the F1 building. Students were challenged to design crumple zones for an F1 car using only paper and card. Designs were put through a crash test and teams gave design presentations. Challenging and nerve wracking. pic.twitter.com/gO2PRu6Jog

China 2019!

Keep up to date with our students travelling to China, via this page!

22/10/2019

Another very successful couple of days. Students are all in bed, ready to wake up tomorrow morning for the long flight back to the UK. We’ve given out lots of fantastic awards this evening for all their efforts.

All students have been an absolute credit to their academies. Looking forward to be home but sad to be leaving such an amazing trip.

Should be landing at Heathrow at 6.40 (after transfer in Vienna) assuming no delays with flights, hoping to be back to

18/10/2019- Day 3

Had what we all agree was probably the best day today in Xi’an! We’ve been doing arts and crafts, bike riding along the 600+ year old ancient city wall that runs around old Xi’an and been through the Muslim quarter, including one of the oldest mosques in China.

Hope everyone has had a good end to the half term.

17/10/2019 - Day 2

Another great day today. Had a nice look around the City God Temple this morning, which was lots of fun and then lots of excitement on the bullet train from Shanghai to Xi’an.

Students are now settled into bed, really exciting day tomorrow; cycling around the ancient city wall and lots of traditional arts and crafts.

16/10/2019 arrived safely and first day.

Students (and staff) have had a long 36 hours of flights, security and customs, but students are safely tucked in bed at our first hostel, after a day walking around the Shanghai museum, Nanjing Road and two lovely meals.

Students behaviour has been exemplary, as they have worked hard to stick to the trip travel timings and have been really patient with all the queues. We received a massive well done from the cabin crew on the twelve hour flight who said that students behaved brilliantly; one of the best large school groups they have had! Couldn’t have asked for better.

Keep an eye out for our daily update. Photo's from the first day can be found below.
