The Beckenham school where girls have 'exceptional' character and exam results



We are so proud of our Year 7 student, Isabelle, who recently came 2nd in the short film competition! She was up against peers much older than her in the 11-16 category and the judges praised her use of mixed media and creativity! 👏🎬🏆


Today we are celebrating our phenomenal Yr7 student Jada, who won SILVER in the 50m butterfly at the London Swimming Champions Event This makes her the 2nd fastest 12yr old in the whole London region! You are amazing Jada!


Some of our incredible Year 13s who are working hard for their A-Levels this week: Emilia, Kiki and Tyla have respective offers from Trinity Hall Cambridge to read English, Homerton College Cambridge to read History and French and University of Birmingham to read Medicine ⭐️🌟✨

📚 Hi-tech guitars and paperback books - the HGABR library rocks! 📚🤘🎸


📚 Starting this Friday, there is a Book Fair in the HGABR library! From the 3-8 May, classes will be given the opportunity to browse through the hundreds of titles that Scholastic books have to offer. Discounted books will be available to buy via parent pay.


We are so excited to add this new initiative to our transition programme for incoming students!

🏆We did it again!🏆 Federation U16 Cup Final winners for the third year running! We could not be prouder of this incredible team and their achievements


🌟 We were delighted to have Sixth formers from Harris Bromley join us for a special mentoring session with our Year 6 girls who are gearing up to join the academy next year. A fantastic start to their transition! 📚👭

📚This week’s table of curiosity at the HGABR library is displaying 80s tech. Literally dusted off from the school’s archive, all this equipment was used for teaching!
