Year 11 Into Year 12
We are really looking forward to supporting our Year 11 students through their GCSE year and helping them prepare for Sixth Form next September.
A huge thanks to the record numbers who visited HGABR Sixth Form on our Open Evening.
It was a beautiful evening of breathtaking speeches by our inspirational Head Girls, engaging subject sessions from our expert teachers and warm interactions in the marketplace with our wonderful sixth form students and staff. HGABR truly is a special place, where our CORE values of Commitment, Optimism, Resilience and Empathy are on show every single day. We are a growing, thriving sixth form that consistently 'adds value' to the lives of our students, in terms of both attainment and personal development. We welcomed a record number of New Joiners this year and would love to see that number further increase in 2026. We plan to extend our already broad curriculum for the next academic year, using the interest students express to shape the academic journey they wish to embark on.
We hope to see all of our external visitors for tours and induction sessions in the new year! Best of luck in your mocks to all year 11s and don’t hesitate to contact Mr Gray with any questions.

Sixth Form Induction 2026
Despite the summer heat, Harris Bromley Sixth Form was delighted to welcome students to our Induction Day on Friday 10 July. It was a pleasure to see our Year 11 students again and to meet the many new students joining us from other schools.
The day provided an exciting introduction to Sixth Form life, beginning with a welcome breakfast and assembly, followed by subject taster sessions, an enrichment fair and, of course, a well-earned ice cream in the sunshine. Students had the opportunity to explore the wide range of academic and enrichment opportunities available to them, while also meeting staff and future classmates.
It was a highly enjoyable and successful day, offering a glimpse of the rewarding and enriching journey that lies ahead. We look forward to welcoming students back for enrolment in August and then officially starting their Sixth Form experience on 7 September. We are excited to see all that they will achieve over the coming years.
