Visits to the London Opera and Theatre

Prince of EgyptSome of our Harris and Bromley Experience students took part in visits to see Wagner’s The Valkyrie and the musical The Prince of Egypt recently.

Our Year 10 students were particularly struck by the discussion of feminism in The Valkyrie, alongside the dramatisation of Norse mythology, whilst our Year 8 and 9 students were awed by the spectacle of a West End musical.

What Year 9 said about The Prince of Egypt

  • "It literally gave me goosebumps."

What Year 10 said about The Valkyrie

  • "The orchestra was amazing - they were very talented!"
  • "Mind-blowing!"
