HGABR Bake Sale to Support Hurricane Melissa Relief Efforts

Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley will be hosting a Bake Sale on Friday, 14th November 2025 to raise awareness and provide support for those affected by the recent devastating events in Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa has been one of the most powerful storms of 2025 and the strongest to hit Jamaica in modern history. The hurricane has caused widespread destruction, leaving many families displaced and in urgent need of assistance.

As part of our commitment to helping those impacted, HGABR will hold a bake sale during Friday break and lunchtime. All proceeds will go directly towards relief efforts for communities affected by Hurricane Melissa.

We know that many of our community have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa which is why we are holding a bake sale in support this Friday. Please could students bring in shop bought cakes on Thursday 13th November. 

How can you help?

  • We kindly ask for donations of shop-bought baked goods, to be brought in on Thursday, 13th November.
  • Students can support by purchasing treats during the bake sale on Friday.
  • If you would like to contribute further, many charities are accepting donations of physical supplies and financial contributions. For direct donations, please visit:
