Personal Development at HGABR 6th Form

At HGABR Sixth Form, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals through a diverse range of personal development opportunities. Our students actively engage in enrichment activities that build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.

In recent week, students have enjoyed sport enrichment sessions in our expansive sports hall, promoting teamwork and physical well-being. They also participated in a self-defence practice session with an external provider, equipping them with practical skills for personal safety.

Continuing this journey, our Year 12 students visited University College London, gaining valuable insights into higher education and inspiring aspirations for their future academic pathways.

These experiences reflect our commitment to empowering students beyond the classroom, preparing them for success in life and learning.

Further to the above students embraced a series of enriching experiences designed to broaden their perspectives, sharpen their skills, and inspire future ambitions.

A Glimpse into Justice - Students visited the Royal Courts of Justice, gaining first-hand insight into the workings of the legal system.

Entrepreneurial Thinking in Action - Another highlight was an entrepreneurial workshop at a trading firm, where students learned about business strategy, risk management, and innovation.

Immersed in Culture and Creativity - To round off these experiences, students enjoyed a trip to the Sam Wanamaker Theatre, part of Shakespeare’s Globe.
