Culture Day - December 2025

 

In the dark days of winter, Culture Day was a ray of sunshine!

On Friday 19th December, Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley celebrated Culture Day. The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase and share their own cultural heritage while learning about the diverse backgrounds of their peers across the school.

The day featured a range of workshops delivered through different subject areas, each designed to highlight global traditions and cultural practices. A vibrant cultural show - planned entirely by students (and with the help of Ms Olaniyan), served as the highlight of the event, bringing together music, dance, and fashion from around the world.

Students were encouraged to attend in their cultural clothing and proudly bring their national flags, creating a colourful and joyful atmosphere that celebrated the Academy’s rich cultural community.
