Tips on preparing for your exams!

Preparing:

On it own, cramming in revision just before an exam is not effective at all. By preparing and creating a plan for your exams, you will steadily get to where you need to be, with less panic.

Revision:

Hour-long revision sessions with short breaks between each hour are really effective. Marathon revision sessions can overload your brain with too much information to remember. Don't forget - regular breaks of five or ten minutes will help you to relax and ‘digest’ what you have just learnt more easily.

The night before:

A good nights sleep, avoiding last minute cramming, planning your travel (just in case) and double checking what you need for the next day, will leave you a lot more stress free. Don't forget the subject specific equipment!

On the day:

Get up and arrive on time! Make sure to bring water in a clear bottle to keep you hydrated during the exam and of course, a balance breakfast/lunch will help to steady the stomach and keep you focused during the exam.
